WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MY HOME
I love the fact that it is not a house, but a home. I love the memories it has given me; the huge park-like back yard where my kids celebrated so many birthdays, camp-outs, soccer practice and so much more. So many of their friends would come over to enjoy our private park and if they wanted a pool, it was only a block away where there was Centennial park with a water-park, ice-skating, tennis, hockey, you name it; and needless to say, how nice that I could relax knowing my children were going to the best schools just within walking distance. I also enjoyed entertaining; the BBQ with my friends and family until the evening when the outdoor fireplace would be lit and the night became warm and inviting again. But of my whole house, I most enjoyed my Glass House, or as some would say the Gazebo. It is there where I would spend my mornings’ journaling, reading or having an intimate brunch with a friend. It is there, next to my private flower garden and bird sanctuary that I would find my serenity just watching the birds or listening to the waterfall as it went down the brook into the Koi pond. Yes, it is in my Glass House that I could watch the storms and listen to the rain and thunder as well as the peaceful snow falling. So many winters I would watch when spring came again to my garden bringing with it the birds and the fireflies, feeling as if I was outside, yet snug and warm in my Glass House. I also loved the huge jacuzzi, how relaxing after a stressful day at work. Just to sit there and read a book or call a friend or turn on the music with the surround sound and just relax. This house was great for a family and for entertaining and for just living in it and when I wanted to get away how convenient to just walk out of the house knowing my boat or RV is parked right on the side lot. I will always have those memories and look forward to what priceless memories the next person will be able to create.
